Developers and construction unions are reportedly working on a deal that could ease regulatory barriers to construction and improve wages and benefits for some construction workers.
Statewide business and union groups appear to be working together in an effort to write new legislation to address issues related to pay, benefits and training for workers in exchange for easing environmental regulations that impact development, the Los Angeles Times recently reported.
