From refrigerators to robotics, Sears outlet store in Lawrenceville may become hub for high tech

A Sears outlet in Lawrenceville could go from hawking refrigerators to trumpeting robotics.

San Francisco-based Spear Street Capital is proposing to convert the 321,000-square-foot warehouse at 27 51st St. into high-bay research and development and creative office space. It hopes to be the latest addition to Robotics Row, a corridor filled with high-tech and sci-fi-like ventures that runs from the Strip District into Lawrenceville.,,(more)

Good news for people who want to move the jobs to the housing. We don’t need the state hearing us into big cities.
